San Francisco to San Diego via Hwy 1 anyone?
« on: September 02, 2008, 12:07:59 PM »
Looking for a riding partner or two to go from SF to SD round trip over a long weekend. I'll be on my 76 cb750f. Leave anytime in the next month, I work freelance.
I prefer camping and cooking to Motels and Diners. Sometimes I ride very fast.

Stop in at Hearst Castle on the way - well worth it!

cheers

Better yet, we will be um, free camping,  on the peninsula right in front of Hearst Castle. Remember, The  No Overnight Parking! sign is only directed to non-surfers and non- California natives. hehe

Why do I let my secrets out, why?

Have a great trip. Hope the fog doesn't get you. We did that run last year and couldn't see much of the coast from 1. Between the fog and the traffic on 1 you might need 2 long weekends - 1 for each way. Oh yeah, if you want to tour Hurst Castle be damn sure to get reservations or you might only get to tour the visitor's center.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
