My missus names everything; the cars are Alice and Vicky, the computer is Herbert, the Triumph Tiger is called Tigger and the 750 K2 is called Candy and Candy she shall remain.
I won't tell you what name she has for me! ;D

I just refer to them by color......

One day I may have to change that if two get the same shade.

Just figured out what to name mine.  Since I always tell people I'm working on my "baby" when I work on her, Babe seems fitting ;)

my bike's name has been "Delilah" for awhile now... not sure if that'll stick for a long time or not... I named her for the biblical chick who cut Samson's hair... but that's not very auspicious, so I'm not sure.  I get this impression of her personality being kind of a tomboyish chick, like those square shouldered softball players who would go to prom looking all fancy, but would still be totally capable of pummeling the crap out of the guy who dissed her best friend.  Not sure if the name Delilah will stick, but we'll see.  suggestions are always welcome.  She's looking tougher these days, with black gloss tank and cobalt blue-to-white-to-black tribal designs.

My '83 CB650SC is 'blue thunder'. Basically, it started off as a candy-red model which then slowly (and viciously) faded into a pinkish color. A *ahem* friend then christened it pink thunder when I first bought it. I later repainted it blue... hence the new name.

Then again, these days there is a fair bit of smoke out the back... so that might inspire another name change.

I could not name mine, might feel  bad when I'm out giving it a good thrashing. BTW, did you know on a 650 that 10000rpm redline is only a suggestion? Laugh or cry at that one, depends how you look at it.

You could call it Thrasher (thrash her, geddit?, boom boom) so you won't feel so bad when you're redlining her again.

funny, i thought the 8000rpm redline on my 750 was only a suggestion too (somehow it still runs after hitting 11000 a few to many times).

Mine is Franklin. Named for Frankenstein which describes the many dead CB550s that donated parts. Sometimes the bike hates (to) fire too.

No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

All of my internal combustion engines go by two names, "this pig" and "this #$%*" depending upon their attitude and temperature of my garage.

All of my internal combustion engines go by two names, "this pig" and "this #$%*" depending upon their attitude and temperature of my garage.

I started calling my cb750 k4 Sue (which i thought was another word for pig but its sow my girlfriend insists) when i tried to role her up a ramp into a truck with no breaks and flat tires. I think Sue is stuck but ive been known to call her "this #$%*" from time to time as well.
