Topic: Old Honda Print Ad(s).

I was going through some of my old 'Hot Rod' magazines and I found this. Hope the quality is good enough.

This Ad is from May 1963.

There are some Triumph and Harley spots too; thought it might appeal to some.

I'm sorry the quality is lacking but I feel congratulations are in order for summoning the monumental restraint to resist collecting my computer gear, bringing it all out doors, setting it on fire, followed by unloading a full clip from my buddy's AK 47. My PC has been a naughty little infernal machine today.

A buddy of mine just got (and resold) a '63 55cc Honda in original condition.  The even bigger find was all the original paper that came with it!  In all the brochures and shop manuals, etc. he had two copies of a Honda brochure in mint condition for the four models of the Honda "50".  "It's not a motor scooter, not a motorcycle - it's a Honda "50", in a class by itself."

He gave me a copy, saying I was the only other guy he knew who would get excited about the bike and about the historic papers.  We're thinking of getting a frame for it and putting it up somewhere.

These are little pieces of history, love the fact that other folks think like me ans try to save them....
