I think the rules state that the nominee must also accept the nomination.

But I don't know how closely we stick to that.

I think if the nominators would be so kind as to send a quick PM to the member that they've nominated it might help to keep things moving along smoothly. :)

well, our power went out during Wednesday's big strom here. Just got it back on about 2 hrs ago, so haven't been on here before now. So better late than never...with honor and gratitude, I accept the nomination.

A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

Just for the record, I am extremely honored & gratiously accept the nomination. I like this pic though:  ;D

Oh yeah... technically I'm not 100% done - I'm fabbing up a "grab bar" to fill the space between the rear section of the seat & frame. Hope that doesn't disqualify me.

nope, just means it won't look so unfinished before too long.   ;)  was my main gripe.

My final pics... added the "grab bar" - which is actually more like a fender strut looking trim piece. Looks like bike is sold to fellow SOHC4 member LoudPipe.

Hey thanks for getting me back in there.  Should be another nail biter this month.  I took a short ride in the 98 degree heat today.  Here's a current picture.

The only easy time we've had was when spikeybike's bike got burned up and heffay made a good call and spikey got the win. Not that he didn't have great competion, or his bike wasn't up to the challenge from any bike. And then spikey turn around twice and did a great rebuild again in record time (god I hate him)j/k. Sure seems like the bobber look is making a big run on the forum lately, which is a good change. Just as long as no one goes cowboy on us. I couldn't vote for steer horn bars or a horse saddle. Good luck to all the nominees, some great bikes.
