Sunday (if all goes well) ill be picking up a 82 silverwing 500i
Used to ride when i was 15... now its some time later  getting back.
the gas prices helped me make the decision (and i loved the look of the silverwing / goldwings)

Man  its been a while . went out to ivor today saw the bike.started it up and drove it 10 miles. kinda gusty here and didnt want to cram in everythign in 1 day. been 20+ years since i rode a bike before.
I didnt even bother to talk him down. He kept the bike nice , other then 20+ years of weather and use, the bike is nice. Ill do some cleaning up and detailing of the badges etc

they guy lives on a gravel road.   not a good idea to get back on riding on that kind of road. 
wasnt used to the clutch. i lastd maybe 4 seconds before going sideways not hard or anything just walking speed.
I did manage to break the mirror

now in need of a mirror.  anyone got one?

Welcome Shawn.  That's a nice looking bike.  I know you will get lots of pleasure from it.  I'm in northern Virginia, near Woodbridge.  I just got a '74 CB750 K4 as a project bike.  It will be a while before I can get it on the road.
