Topic: New to forum; Riding a 1978 CB550K

Hey,

I'm new to the forum.  I've used the website as a resource already many times but I thought I'd like to join the forum too.  I just started riding last year and love riding my CB550.  It's great when you stop at a coffee shop and everyone stops to look at your "old bike" rather than the brand new Honda CBR600RR your buddy rides.

Welcome to the forum. You'll find all the info and tips you need to fettle your bike here. And I couldn't agree with you more; the modern bike market has just gone OTT (over the top) in their race to outdo and out design each other. That's the main reason I started looking at classic bikes a couple of years ago. That and nostalgia for "the good ol' days" I suppose.
