CB500k mac slip on mufflers on a CB350f?

I have heard that you can fit CB500/550 2-1 slip ons on stock CB350f headers. I was wondering if anyone here has done this. If so does it require cutting down the headers? I don't want to have to resort to a 4-1 system but I really don't want to cut my stock headers as I know how rare they are.

I'd definately try to slip some megaphones or other aftermarket mufflers on before sacrificing those stock headers.
I'm looking for headers for my 650 and think I may have to make my own!
4 into 1's look sooooo putz..... ;D
