motorcycle literature
« on: July 03, 2008, 03:20:38 PM »
whenever i get the chance to go to a big city, i always like to stop in a barnes and noble and scope out the automobile/motorcycle sections and paruse the bike mags.

what's a good classic bike mag to look into? when i was there i came across at least 8 different classic bike mags. some were decent but i like ones that cover more on the technical and restoration part.

maybe there's more out there that i didn't see

Motorcycle Classics is big on the tech side of classic bikes.

And go and buy Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.  ;)

Motorcycle Classics, great.

" It was an intrusion on his reality.  It just blew a hole right through his whole groovy way of looking at things and he would not face up to it because it seemed to threaten his whole lifestyle."

+100 on classic motorcycle mechanics. It's exactly about what we like the best - FIXING the old bikes. And you can subscribe for internet-delivered version for peanuts. Try it out - try torrent search before buying.. :D

And I do scout the web for scanned Cycle World. It interesting overall magazine.
