" On any sunday " never gets old. Showed it to a group at Bikeweek that had never seen it and they were glued.

I'd normally say The Long Way Round, The Long Way Down and that other one about Charley Borman trying (and failing) the Dakar Rally. But both Charley and Ewan McGregor come across as a right pair of wusses; they're always missing their families, or kids, or dogs. Charley's forever "crying in his helmet" boo-hoo! Makes me wanna vomit. Be a man fer crikey's sake! They're always up against a schedule, or falling behind their schedule. Biking's about NOT having a schedule,  ya dozy twits.
So, my final vote goes to "The Great Escape". Those scenes with Steve McQueen on the bike are unsurpassable.

"Then Came Bronson" looks pretty sweet...  It's reminding me of that "Knight Rider" knockoff about the guy with the super-fancy motorcycle that could shoot rockets and stuff--anybody remember what it was?

I vaguely remember that; was it a movie or a TV show?

Aha!  Found it - a TV show called "Street Hawk."

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088618/

He even rides a Honda.  Can't call it a favorite, but it's out there.

there was another one called heat vision and Jack with jack black.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363668/

I do not think it made it past the pilot.

Sons of Anarchy Blows. And they ripped off the plot from Hamlet, only they made it suck. It dissapoints me to think this is how they have chosen to portray "bikers" in this world.

Yeah, can't say "Sons of Anarchy" is much of anything, either.  Take Hamlet, subtract any and all intelligence, add a bunch of macho B.S., and you've got Jax.  And Ron Perlman looked a lot better as Hellboy.

It will be interesting if the doctor (the woman from "Mad Men") goes crazy, though...

HBO supposedly has a biker series coming out soon, too, called "1%."  Who knows, maybe nudity and f-bombs are what's missing from SOA.

Oh, man.  "Stone Cold" goes beyond the biker genre - it's a once in a lifetime cheese experience.  That and "Road House" make for possibly the best double-feature ever.  Seeing Lance Henriksen shoot a machine gun in a courthouse while dressed as a priest... priceless.

A man of incredible judgment, I tip my hat sir.

If anyone gets a hold of a copy of Silver Dream Racer please give some feedback. Net Flix doesn't seem to have it and I have yet to see if my local mom & pop rental store has it.

Now, Le Mans is on TCM.

Empire Records opens up in the first 5-10 min of a guy riding a black CB750 into Atlantic City to gamble the store's money away.  I thought it was cool when my sister called out the CB the first time she saw it.  Here is a glimpse of the bike.
