New Toledo area member on board.
« on: May 18, 2008, 03:39:29 PM »
Hi everyone.  Picked up my 750 last summer as I was looking to move up in bikes.  Interesting though the numbers say 1974 750 k4 while the bike itself has traits and a 4 to 1 exhaust as a 750F.  I guess I"ll get a lot of feedback from the member as to what exactly I have.  This site is great and I look forward to my membership.

Welcome! I thought I'd seen a really good guide to identifying by frame or engine number but I can't seem to find it. I don't know if this will help:

http://www.satanicmechanic.org/enginemods.shtml

His list is by engine number which will not be the same as the frame number.

Post pics, we'll tell you what we can.  Which will be a lot, because the knowledge floating around on this forum is quite impressive :)  Some of these guys seriously need to be cloned.

Yea, I grew up in the western burbs of Cleveland, Amherst.  I bounced around Ohio for a few years and settled on the eastern outskirts of Toledo 10 years ago.  As soon as I'm able I'll post some pics of my bike so the experts can help me identify it exactly.
