Hey all, been lurking here a lil bit lately. Have wanted a sohc for a few years now, I finally got one about a month ago for 300 bucks out of a barn. Long story short it has 9k org miles, and hadnt run in ten years. I did a good tune up and she runs great now. Mods I have done so far are
modified stock bars/bullet signals/headlight visor/ cafe seat from a tank(still on progress) making the 4-4 a 4-2 exhaust with emgo shorty mufflers/ stripped all kinds of stuff/grab bar/sissy/crash/fenders...etc I had to do lots of "maintence" things to get all systems properly working again and had to replace the tank from the original. I need to finish exhaust and seat, and get new tires and I should be rollin. I'd like to get at least a few months of riding in this year, so I know what needs attention over the winter.
I have a lot of exp with cars/autobody, but this is my first bike, I just want to get a little seat time, and have fun with the bike right now, thus why I am not detailing/painting/polishing everything to the point where I want to clean it after everytime I ride. Maybe in the future, or if I like it how it is, Ill just find another... Enuf talk, onto the pics
