velocity stack filters
« on: July 13, 2008, 05:32:00 AM »

Ok,my brother and i are installing weber carbs(IDF 40) on a GL1000
(will post pics when done) and he have velocity stack on them, and we have hard time to find
air filters to goes on it :(

Someone can tell me where we can buy these filters, the stack measure 2" 7/16 or 60MM(diameter)

Also is there one of you who can tell me if we can block these hole(see pic) on the top of the carbs with a gasket and an aluminum plate....?
We want to block these holes in case of rain.

they had k+n filters on the stacks, like giant pods.

I'm looking for filters like that,(not in green ;D)

But these filter(at least on ebay) are way too expensive ...at least 80$ + shipping for four filters :o

Thats why i'm asking if someone know where i could find something cheaper!

They are out of stock on this one, but these work really well with those tall stacks.

They may not be your taste though.  They do offer realy good flow, and really good protecton though.
