Sneaky peak at my engine Updated (9-2-08)

Here is a pic of my engine so far. I still need to strip the covers (clutch, chain, stator) off and blast em'. I think those would be easier to do in the frame. I had to get the valve cover and jugs done before the frame fit.
Any I thought I would share this pic and the parts awaiting assembly.

not sure how thre rest of the bike will be yet.
I would like to keep the "basic bike" idea and i just keep working around that, trying to keep it cheap, simple.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Where did you find a black points cover or did you just paint over the chrome?

I just sand blasted the cover and painted it.
I should have the rest of the enging buttoned up tonight.
I'll post more pic then :)

Here is a couple pics with the engine all buttoned up and the oil bag on. I may have to repaint the bag, but it wil work for now. Not much more I can do, due to the impending wedding next week.
