I have the older version, non-trellis frame VTR250 that was sold in the states from 1988-90. Great little bike. Incredible handling, can get 60-665 mpg ( if you don't rev it to the redline all tyhe time), and its quickenough and has enough performance to run at Interstate speeds easily. Not as sharp looking as the newer trellis-Duc Monster style bikes, though, IMHO. WOuld love to get one of the newer versions.
With the new surge in interest in the smaller displacment bikes such as the 250 Ninja, etc., Bringing more of the smaller mid-range bikes such as the 400cc models would probably be successful at this time. The bike shop here said they had sold out their yrs allotment of Honda Rebels by early July. I would love a Honda 400cc bike built in the same style as the new VTR250.
BTW, also love that CBR1100 old school RWB bike. Have always had a fondness for them. Probably why I still have my old RWB Interceptor.
