New guy here Tampa Florida
« on: July 16, 2008, 09:08:26 AM »
First off, name is Corbin from Tampa Florida, 20 years old.
Not so new to bikes, been riding pocket bikes since i was 12 and riding Harleys ever since,
I work at a Harley Shop and so does most of my family, and ive decided to build the cafe racer ive always wanted because gas prices are to high and cannot afford the harley anymore.

First off, bought clubmans, came with white turismo grips,
painted tank red and hammered knee indentions, still waiting to make time to strip tank and fill in dibits in the knee indentions.
Made fiberglass seat, still debating if i want to bite the bullet and just buy one off ebay.
Painted motor black
Bought spoke wheels, 19" front 18" rear, still waiting on tire for rear.

for you bobber guys, attatched is my softail, just sold  :-\

I know theres not a lot of 650 guys here, but on my carbs, there is an adjustment screw between the floats and intake side facing motor.  Im guessing its idle mixture screw? anyone know

I really dig the 79 CB650! Looks like you've got it done up really nice already. Welcome to the board.  8)

Well decided the seat wasnt good enough and the Red wasnt me

So heres how it looks now!!  Seat from Airtech and paint is Krylon Fusion Gloss Black

Still need tire for spoke wheel and also mounted a GSXR front master cylinder,  works like a charm
