I live in Nashville, and there is plenty to do around town.. I suppose it is what you interested in and what you wanna do. There are honky tonk bars galore, but if that isn't your cup of tea, so to speak, there are plenty of nice restaurants up and down West End Avenue, just off the main road (Broadway). There is also a bar in the Union Station called the Flying Saucer, with over 100 beers on tap.
There is a few restaurants I would suggest. Ruth Chris (steak joint). P.F. Changs, great asian cuisine. Amerigo's has your very authenic Italian food.
There is a bunch here, one just has to no where to look.
