Yesterday, I went for a ride into the BIG City to look at the possibility of buying a Dyna-S for my 1978 CB550. Cheapest price I found was $212. Not wanting to pay that much for an electronic ignition sytstem. Decided to check the internet for a cheaper price...most discount motorcycle places had a better price at $159 plus S/H. Decided to go back to the Dynatek website to re-read the information and see if this is something I HAD TO HAVE...lol
Looking under distributors in my area....found one in the least likey place...a local CUB dealership (lawn equipment)....gave them a call and asked about the Dynatek line...they carried it I asked about a Dyna-S DS1-2 for a CB550...
Bought a brand new DS1-2 for a grand total of $126....went down there right away...cash-in-hand...Hopefully this weekend will have time to install it....
