Yeah, well I grew up in Dunlap (just outside Peoria) and now I go to school in Milwaukee and am living in Madison for the summers. But the CB still resides in Illinois, at least for now, till it is road worthy.

Went to high school at Dunlap, class of 02.  You probably knew my little brother, he would have been in the class ahead of you.

bumping this one up a bit...I have seen more than a couple of threads about looking for someone in "X" state. If we all just used this map and placed ourselves we'd know who was nearby!!!  ;)

OK, I needed a bit of extra help I guess.
Now I'm on there.
Not many around me in Southern Ontario, but LOTS of Harley's!

i put the pin right on my house...i trust all you guys here on the forum,no problem..
also,i'm 6'7" and i do get very mad if somebody tryes to take some thing from me that i payed for with hard labour..so "be warned"..... ;D ;D

Same here. If someone wanted to come over here looking for trouble they'd find it. I think this is a really good idea, like others were saying. Its good to know where the friendlies are if you break down, or get some folks together for a ride! So if there are any SOHC4ers in east tx put yourself on the map! Its just me and 3 dudes near Dallas.

There's a new map application that Glenn has just added to the forum. There's a button on the menu bar "Member Map"

It is far more user-friendly than the last one (and integrated with the forum s/w)

Button "Member Map" on the menu bar? I did see it a week or so ago and it worked, but it is not there anymore. What happened to it?

Looks like I'm the only member listed here in Halifax. At least I'm on there now if any other local SOHC/4 members are looking, or if anyone is traveling up to ride our beautiful Nova Scotian roads.

What does she think about the pose Google caught her in? At least they didn't have to censor her face?  :)

Surprise!  :o
Today I am on the map! But the guys in Guelph and Milton near me are not on the map today!
Last week I was not on the map.
It is still not working right.

She finds it funny. Carcleaning is not illegal or very private. When she was sunbathing in the backyard it was a different thing. And she isn't recognizable on the picture (except for who knows her)

I must be seriously computer illiterate as I can't seem to add myself to the member map, although I've tried twice, my pinpoint is in London Camberwell so maybe it has worked??

Also not able to join the sohc4 gallery.

Also not able to post a youtube video.

I will try again in a couple of hours though!

One of the recent spam-avoidance techniques is to stop new members posting links until they've reached a post count of 10.

That will affect your YouTube post, not sure about the member map.

I can see you near Upminster?

If you check your profile, you can see the map.

I don't know why we don't appear on the "Member Map" (I don't either) - it seems very hit-and-miss.

How eerie, put myself on the map and when I zoomed in with a satellite view, I could see all the houses covered in blue tarps. Its all post-tornado pictures in Joplin. Mentaly stressing.

I just placed mine on the map!
I'm with the others about placement of the pin right on my house and privacy, but in NC they just changed a law for private property owners " Castle Protection Law"  Gives the owner the right to protect his property by any means (SHOOT) against ANY uninvited persons. .
So if any of you want to come over ,SEND ME A PM FIRST< so I can expect you.
