Not sure if the Spyro locks are still available. Be careful taking them out. The way the grooves in the pistons are cut, you can not put regular clips in it. Tale out only one from each pistons if you need to take the pistons off the rods. I have four new ones if you need them.

Mike can tell you about my RC set. It was/is used, not new. WELL used by a TQ midget guy that wore them out. Bent/slight twist & outta round holes. Thanks again Mike for having them checked out. IF they are in good shape they are better than stock without a doubt. IF.......... is the operative word. Jay's will be new, no IF involved.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

good to know now then to find out when i'm cruisin down the road.

i was looking at APE's site and saw they offered rod peening. once i've spec'd my rods for warpage, twisting, out-of-roundness, stretching, compression, etc. and they turn out to be true, how much extra strength does peening offer? i'll give RC another call today and see if i can't find some answers.

i'd be on that list for big jay's special batch of rods now that i came across these performance parts but as i have a semester left of school, some student loan debt, and 4 years of service to the army, i'm not going to have the time or money to tinker with my bikes.

That cam is the mild one, and Jay listed specs that are not close to what the RC catalog lists.

Is anyone sure those pistons are forged? ..they do not look anything like the 2 sets I have on the shelf.

Hard for me to post lately.

RC295-B, is the mildest of their 4 billet cams, but one step above their regrind.

Specs listed,
Intake..51-71....EX 71-51.Both lifts.345...running clearance cold...014

I really like the next one, 315-B. Int..55-85, ex..85-55, lifts .375, tappets...012

Their pistons & a lot of forged ones, dont resemble yours at all.

That's a forged piston. I said earlier it looks like a Wiseco 915 piston.

Jay, if you still have the Spyro locks available, I would need four for my 915cc Wiseco kit, and my German supplier apparently has problems delivering the correct item (they sent four standard clips).
