hayashi racing wheels for the 750.
« on: July 22, 2008, 02:02:17 PM »
Hey everyone,
Wanted to show you guys the wheels my dad purchased years ago to put on this project 750
he was working on.

He gave me the bike and all the parts for christmas last year.
They look new, no bearings, still in the orig. boxes.

Does anyone have any info on these?  I can't seem to dig up too much.

Enjoy!

Indeeed....  ;D
cafe is the plan.
Dad had put in larger pistons, not sure what size, all I can remember from being a kid is seeing the wiseco kit in the basement.  :) I remember him tearing down the engine and spiders crawling out of the cylinder head.  :o He also added electronic ignition. He ended up parking it after the tank rusted thru and it started having charging issues.
Here is some pics of her:

Dixie must have been some kind of importer of aftermarket parts for CB's.  I bought a steering damper mount for my 400F on ebay and it had the same "Dixie" label on it.  No idea who actually made the part.  I wonder if they're still operating in some form?

I came across the same set of wheels.  Any idea if they are tube or tubeless?

IIRC Frank, they're 2.15x18. I've had a couple sets (still have a "K" set) and I think that info is correct. I don't remember them being 2.50. RR

I have a set.  They are capable of running tubeless, although I have always used inner tubes.  Very close to stock width, if not the same  (Is 2.15" stock size?)  Anyway stock size tires work nicely on mine.  Mine have been painted/powder coated black...still love 'em...
