master cylinder cap
« on: September 04, 2005, 04:19:40 PM »
Quick question maybe someone knows.  A buddy has got a 1977 cb750 with a cracked cap for the front brake master cylinder.  Are the master cylinders for all the 750's the same size (assuming they are all round)?  Or do you know if the master cylinder from a 550/four would be the same size?  we have got access to a 550, but not at the moment, so we aren't sure if it will work or not.  thanks-

Should.

Almost all of them are the same. My 350 and 750 are interchangable. Same with the 500.

SHould be fine - I recently took the cap off a CB750F and put it on my CB550F.
