Getting Honda 600 single ready to go (now it thumps}.

Bike has been shut down for many years.
XL600 motor in CB360 frame.
When last ridden, it had bad mannerisms.
Hoping to make it more rideable.

That looks like an AWESOME project, coming from the supermoto world, that is a bad ass engine. Looks like a lot of fun and alot of work put into it. any video of it running?

Single cylinder engine has 4 valves, duel carbs and dual exhaust as well as magnesium cases.
It didn't fit easily into the frame--almost too tall.
Video at some point, of course.

          Didn't realize that they had dual carbs or the magnesium cases! Makes me wonder about the potential of that engine.
