oil switching
« on: July 26, 2008, 10:14:18 AM »
my engine has been dry for about two weeks since my piston incident.

the fact that I can see hone marks after 2K miles tells me the synthetic oil I love so much is not good for break in. I'm going to flush and re-fill her with dino oil for the break in period. once that's done, should I expect any issues whe I go back to synthetic?

Well, according to Heffay we should re-hash this topic every time it comes up.  Maybe he'll volunteer to re-type it all for you. :P ;D ;D

edit:  Nevermind... I just wasn't supposed to respond.  It's hard keeping up with all these rules! ;)
