Newbie from Kansas City here.

I hope this doesn't rub anyone the wrong way. I've been trying to find fellowship with some dohc owners and it's just not out there. I'm hoping you guys will take me in and let me be a small insignificant part of this forum. I honestly don't own a sohc honda :o. I do, however, own a dohc cb 750 "Frankenbike"  :-\ that I feel deserves honorable mention. I am hoping to get a few mods done on it. I've already made a handful of improvements. 823 kit, new tires, whew, that was a b&%ch, new electronics, carb rebuild/rejet, modified exhaust, sanded steel wooled and polished my covers this winter and also painted tank, side covers and front fender. Replaced fork seals to no avail this spring. Someone use JB weld to fill a pretty good sized ding in my left fork and didn't get it smoothed out right. They left scratches on the good part and left pits in the JB weld part. I've got a used pair coming in the mail. Good ole Ebay. $45. This bike was built from at least 3 different bikes if not 4. It's got a "C" engine "KZ" frame (I think) haven't really been able to find the number anywhere yet, It's got "K" wheels and "F" side covers...who knows what else. I'm thinking about choppin' it up and droppin' it down.
I also own a '74 cb 200T that will be my next project. It's all original and has only about 8,000 mi. on it. It's just been sitting in a friends garage for the last 10 years and all the rubber and plastic is...well you know. He got tired of looking at it and said if I came and got it I could have it. Well, I'll take it. It should be a fun little bike when I'm done with it.
Well, that's me and my bikes. I really hope you guys don't mind me hangin' out. I am getting some insight for my bike by reading some of the posts. I realize this is for single overhead cams. Just look at it this way, I'm riding a Honda CB 750 with an extra cam, ::) there's really not a pleathera of difference.
