oes anybody know if they make them for our type of bikes? I know they have em for cars cause if they dont Im thinkin about designing them and making some, for I need more HP. for the drag bike and more MPG. for the street bikes

Are these the devices that are supposed to swirl the air entering the engine, etc?? If so, I believe they have been debunked as having any value on cars anyway.

Yep. The latest issue of Popular Mechanics tested all the popular aftermarket attachments that are supposed to boost MPG, give you extra power, whiten your teeth, etc. They dyno tested a vehicle with one and it actually hurt the power output by a small margin.

while at the laundry last week, I saw a Popular Mechanics that had tested a number of mileage/performance enhancing devices/ additives that are currently on the market. tornadoes were among those reviewed; receiving poor grades and showing little or no evidence of reall boost in either catagory.

cycle world a few months back tested them on bikes (one page product review) and found that on some bikes (honda cbr) it did what it claimed but on most sport bikes (R1, zx10) it actually hurt performance . I think they had one bike where ti made no difference whatsoever.

Not the tornado but a similar product Popular Mechanics tested actually INCREASED fuel consumption by 20%!!!!!

nothing more than a good tune up, clean fuel, clean plugs, and proper timing will give you increased Hp and mileage

What spec is your current motor and what fuel are you runing/what sort of times compaired with the old motor?

This is the more correct idolology for the "tornado." (C)
On variable inlet suction sysyem IE (No Turbo /Supercharged engines) thre as much use as a chocklate teapot as all they do is get in the way and give the airbox bull#$%* readings.
Now then, IF & I say "IF" the engine was a constant / stationary engine then set the RPM at say 4000 the swirl vanes may be OK but only just.
These things are not sientific at all, in fact there a wast of $$$$.
But the best electronic ignition and marry some great plugs to it Buy the best fuel and get some geal good oil .(Good Subject to have a beer over)
Remember Clean air, Clean Fuel and clean oil.
That reminds me where or what is the best fuel?

less MPG. is good for the dragbike - More power. Anyone ever use a MSD ignition box on their bike. A swirling affect in the combustion chamber is one way to make more power another is indexing your plugs. Honda made your combustion chamber in a sort of oval shape also to cause this affect
Sam current motor runs about the same time as the 836, and I can burn anything premium and up in octane for I have flat top turbo pistons on the 1055 and 1080 cc honda motors

Have you ever thought of running fuel, or upping the compression and Running methanol.
Your old motor, the one that went bang was on 12-1 was'nt it,? that would have run well on methanol I reckon.
