Hi guys, I'm new on the forum and need your help 'cause I'm desperate...
Bike is a CB750F with a K2 engine and carbs (rest is F). Problem is: bike doesn't start, no neutral light when turned on, no signal to starter. It was like that all of a sudden when trying to turn engine on in the morning.
I first changed main fuse (15A). After fiddling with fuses (putting 10A in 15A holder), first neutral light worked, but didn't dare to run it, when putting 15A back in it, no neutral light and doesn't start anymore. I checked diode: OK. I measured voltage/ampere here and there: neutral switch seems to work, light bulb is ok, wiring connections seem ok at first.
Strange thing is: I measure 12V and 24µA over neutral light contacts (same as oil lamp, that does work), though there doesn't seem to run any current through it. Changed lights etc - triple checked.
Ayone got an idea? Sounds familiar? Contact breaker or relais?
Please help! Many thanks - maarten
