I'm currently repainting my '78 F black. the seat cowl is black plastic and doesn't require painting, just a polish and it looks like new. however, there are a couple gouges/scratches on the side. it's a little deep to sand down to so i was wondering if there are anyother alternatives? maybe fill it with something clear and sand/polish it down?
