CB 750 parts stash
« on: July 26, 2008, 08:53:17 PM »
Finally I am starting to sort my parts..

Looks like 5 bottom ends with good cases. Plus my 73 I had 4ever, which needs to be opened up... and a display motor(hooped cases), a complete tranny and case (cut off-wish I kept the front).. and a mostly there, stuck 74 parts bike minus paper..

Some of my parts I stored nicely, like my 73 blank case motor, topend is all in one box, labeled and wrapped.

So I am sorting and putting most in same size boxes with labels.

So I can do a motor quickly w/o a lot of searching.

It looks like i can do an 836cc with stuff in the shop, should only have to get a valve-job & boring(maybe). i figure it would be cool to build an 836 without buying any parts..

I found my NOS oil pump, wheel bearing retainers, stem seals, 836 rings, stuff like that. used advance units.. at least 6 so far, both types.. and on it goes.

I will hang on to it all for now, with the exception of a handful or two of 77 parts.. those I can do without.. ;)

Finding the odd CB 350 twin parts, must of had them  since at least 73..

Sorta fun going thru some of that, will be nice when it is finally sorted..

 Any other stashes??

754,

I'll save some room in my saddlebags for that NOS oil pump.  8)
