A late introduction from Utah
« on: July 28, 2008, 02:44:25 PM »
I have been a member for a few months and have found this forum to be warm and willing to help, and most importantly, very knowledgeable.

About me:  I decided several months back that the price of gas was gonna get ludicrous before long and that I ought to buy a bike. Silly me, I bought the bike before I knew how to ride it. I love my 1973 CB500, but I have had to put a lot more money into it than I thought I would have. In hind sight, had I known, I might have steered clear, but I am now an addict. Having never riden another bike, this one has been fun, and painful to grow with. I am not sure I have saved any money in the short term, but hopefully my baby will last me a long time and turn out to be a wise investment. If I could just keep it from surprising me with new things to fix  ;D

Anyhow, sure I will see you around the forums, and thanks to everyone who has and will help me!

Sure it's for sale! How much you ask?? Well, how much are you willing to pay??? Now triple it, that's the price!

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
