Love the paint, it's awesome.

Why does that rear sprocket look so small compared to mine.

How many teeth/

I just counted 37 teeth. I haven't researched if that's stock for a '76, but I have to assume it is, because the bike was bone stock when I got it- no other mods.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I waited three months for the paint to get done- An agonizing amount of time considering it is (was) spring.

The rearsets are perfect for me. I'm only 5'9" tall. -Any taller and I might be cramped, but I actually like the riding position; very comfortable (except for the seat, I must confess, but I like the way it looks.) I may experiment with a denser foam...

Closeup of the brake side welcome. ;) (I assume you meant the controls)

Where I mounted my tach is one of the things that has bothered me since I finished my build. It was one of the last things I did before it was "finished" (are they ever really?) and I put a bracket together quickly just to get the tach on there so I could ride. It ended up sitting up higher than I would have liked. This is what it looked like from the side:

I really wanted the top of my gas tank to be the highest part of the bike (or close to it.) That's the look I like, anyway. So, this past Monday, I finally got around to making a new bracket and grinding a little bit off of the top of the tree so the tach would fit snugly down inside. Here's the result:

Thanks for looking-

I also just ordered a Supertrapp universal aluminum muffler, (I hate the Mac!!) so I'll be posting some pics of that when it gets here...

Beautiful bike, love the color.

Might you be willing to fill me in on a couple things?  What kind of tack is it, where did you purchase it?  And, what Supertrapp exhaust did you order?  I can't seem to find anything to fit my bike on the website.  I'm also currently using a Mac 4 into 1 that I hate, but I do still have the headers to fit a 4 into 4 "something".

Thanks Brett- The tach I got here:
http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm
Click on "controls" and then "gauges"...it's the first one on the page. 1:7 ratio.

This is the muffler I ordered:
http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?skuId=43948&store=Main&catId=&productId=p43961&leafCatId=&mmyId=
They come in 2" and 2 1/2" inlets (and smaller,) and as the Mac header is 2 1/4", I had to scour the web for a reducer (I chose to go down to a 2" inlet on the muffler.)

I'll try to post a video of it once it's on...Should be late next week sometime.

The attention to detail on moving that tach is fantastic. I thought is was fine before but, man, it really makes the top look perfect, integrated, awesome........

Liiking forward to see how you mount the Supertrapp exhaust.  Do you plan to just cut the pipe in front of the muffler?  Also, please post video if you can, I'd love to hear it running after the new exhaust.

The tires are 120/90/18 rear, and 100/90/19 front. I had the rearsets fabricated by a friend of mine here in New Jersey. His company is called "47 Industries" if anyone wants to look him up. He does real clean work...

Wow, that's sweet!!!  I really like the paint - who dod the work?

Also, I noticed no switch housing on the right bar.  No kill switch, and kickstart only is my guess?

And no, they're never done...

Thanks man... The paint was done by Ryzart. Check him out here:www.myspace.com/ryzart. He's got lots of cool stuff on his page...

Yeah, no kill switch, but I do have a starter button that I mounted under the seat. (It's a doorbell button!) :D

Thanks man- I got the master cylinder from Dennis Kirk, and I just pulled the caliper apart (it was totally frozen) and cleaned it up. It works great now.

I got the Universal Aluminum exhaust. Ordered the 2 1/2" and got an exhaust shop to make a tapered extension pipe from my Mac header.

Hey man, first thing, that is one amazing bike! you are an inspiration...

One question though, I saw that you are not a fan of the mac 4to1 exhaust.
I was just wondering why?
I recently purchased a pair with muffler but Im still in the process of building so i dont know how they are...
Just want to know if i made a bad decission... Thanks... -TJ

Oh and did i mention you have a really nice bike?... ;)

Sure do. Here you go....

Nobody steal my awesome tail light setup- :D

The rectifier is mounted upside-down right behind the gas tank. Everything else is under the seat cowl. Starter button is hidden under the seat as well.
