CB550K Needle numeric markings.
« on: July 31, 2008, 06:42:18 PM »
After reading a few threads on carburetion, I check a bank of carbs that I'm rebuilding and found the number E2350F marked on the jet needles.  Any idea what the significance of this number might be?  The bike is a 1978 CB550K.  Thanks

I think that's Keihin's marking system.
It somehow releates to the diameter, length, and taper of the needle.  But, I don't know if it's a table entry, or somehow denotes the dimension features within the number.
