Just had to share what I saw last night.
I went over to
East Coast Custard because it was nice out and their vanilla custard is awesome.
While in the drive-thru, I watched a woman load her 3 kids into her Dodge Caravan. While in the front seat, she used the remote to close the automatic rear door, but as it did the stroller she had stowed back there got pushed out and fell on the ground. So she got out of the van, used the remote to open the back door, restowed the stroller, and again used the remote to close the door
while standing there with her hand on the door to make sure the stroller didn't fall out again. She then backed out and pulled away.
At this point I had received my custard (woohoo!) and happened to be behind her. We both pulled out onto the street and I noticed she had the little flip-down DVD player on. How ridiculous would this be, I thought, if this was going to be a short ride?
Sure enough, she turns right approximately 500 feet later, and again into her driveway approximately 400 feet later.
Here is the route and mind you, Google Maps couldn't even calculate driving directions--I had to select walking ones. (Destination 'B' is approximate but pretty darn close.)
Time to load everyone/everything was probably 5 minutes. Drive time was about 30 seconds (including the single stop light).
