750f forks 78 and 79 interchangable?

i need the left fork bottom. any body know if there is a difference between the 78 and 79?
my 78 broke.

The 750F forks were the same from 1977 through 1980 (or maybe 1981). I am currently changing my 77 750K forks over to the dual disk 78 750F forks and my research found no changes from over the years that I was looking at (1977-1980).

the Super sport uses a different caliper mount, i think the F does also. it looks different with 2 ears or the trailing side to mount the caliper to.

looked at the junk yard and the later dohc were almost the same but the fender mount was higher. Found a pair of 78s for 150. Guess thats not too bad thanks for the replys
