So I'm finally getting the engine back together and I realize I didn't mark up the base plate to the crankcase so that i could re-align them into the same position. How can I get around this? Also the screw slots were bent up and it looks like it was done by the manufacturer since they are very hard to bend and they aren't banged up. Has anyone seen that before?
But more importantly, does anyone have any ideas on how to make sure the advancer is lined up with the crankcase?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have to finish the bike within 12 days.
