Hi,
I've rebuilt my carbs lately on my 72 CL 350 twin. I had a problem operating at high speeds before but I fixed it( a loose main jet needle).
Now the problem is a surging idle and stalling at low speeds. The engine runs better when you really open up the throttle, but very poor at low speeds( say, 1st or second gear).
I'm wondering if the float adjustment is correct. I was told my Keihin 722a carburetor has a float height of 26mm, but now I'm totally unsure. I've checked the needle and seat, they look OK. What do you think is going on?
Thanks,
Richard
