Hello and good day

I have a front end from a 1982 CB650SC (the nighhawk model).

Will that front end fit on a 1982 cb650 custom as a bolt on ?

And if so can the top of the trees be used to retain the cb650 custom handlebars?

The 650 nighthawk has some special handlebars that have a frame mount.

Thanks for helping me answer this question and have a great day

I have a nighthawk front end on my cm400. the front turn signals and headlight was differant, but i got it worked out. i also have a cb650c 1980 model and i thought about switching front ends with the 400 so i could have twin discs on the front of the 650(probably what you are wanting). i also like the handle bar position of the nighthawk front end. anyway , just by looking at it , i believe it would be a no brainer, allthough i havent acually checked any measurments. basically everything looks the same exept the bars and twin discs.

I'm doing almost the opposite, replacing my 82 nh front end with that from an 81 custom tripletree.  so far problems look like ignition switch, and getting the intrument panels to fit.  other than that it's almost exactly the same.  do you need 82 nighthawk handlebars?  They're not going to be needed when I get some straight bars and risers.
