Cross Reference
« on: July 31, 2008, 01:44:18 PM »
Does any one know where I can find if any a cross reference guide on any of the bikes?
CB350/400
CB500/550
CB650/750
I own a running 72 CB500 and a 72 CB750.
I just bought a 72 CB 350 that will need some parts and would like to know what is interchangeable.

Parts supplier CMSNL offers a possibility to find out. Select Honda > CB Four > your model > parts fiche, select a part and find out for what other models that part is suited.

I use Motogrid - http://www.motogrid.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/7/honda.aspx

Use the right hand search function "Quick Part Look Up", select the brand (Honda!?), then either enter the part number in the appropriate field or just input your model (eg: cb550) in the lowest box... it will then list you the part(s) and which model(s) they can be utilised on...

ServiceHonda.com

Not the easiest to use but once you figure it out you can not beat the "where used" cross reference.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
