Topic: simple green -> water -> wd-40 = clear jelly?

So I cleaned my carbs  with simple green today (1:10 ratio), then thoroughly washed them with hot water, then sprayed them down with WD-40.  A friend came over so I let them sit for a few hours in that state, and when I got back to them, a thin jelly had formed all over the carbs.  Any body want to give me a chemistry lesson as to whats going on here?  Also, how should I go about removing the jelly?  Its thin and light right now, but its gooping up all the holes.

I have no idea, but when I cleaned my carbs I just used simple green UNdiluted.  Worked like a charm.  You might be looking a couple boxes of q tips square in the face my friend.

A can or two of carb cleaner should get it off then start all over with the cleaning process and tell your pal not to visit.

WD-40 is mostly fish oil.  The simple green musta congealed the oil...

ill throw some carb cleaner on it tomorrow.  I wasn't expecting a bunch of clear goop all over everything so it threw me for a loop a little.  Thought, maybe someone hear might of run into the same situation.
