I got my cable repaired in cortez colorado, but it broke again in denver. Also my ignition is bad. If anybody is in the denver area or knows of a shop that can supply parts please call me. 480 580 6883. I'm at a library but I don't have regular access to the internet. - Stephen

Paul,

Looks like you'll have to adopt him now :D

What bike are we talking about and what are the issues?

Hope everything works out. You're not stuck, just delayed. There are a number of us in the area that may be able to help however I'm headed down to the SE corner for the next 2 days but I'll be home Friday night and perhaps be in Denver Sat or Sun with the family. Hondaman does ignition stuff. Paul can rig 'em with the best. Haven't heard of Gordon lately but Heffay seems to be in a better mood.  ;) Steele's is a local wrecker.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

next time, to look for a shop in a place far from home, try google text.  that is, text "honda motorcycle denver" to GOOGLE, or 644653.  I did this on my motorcycle trip on numerous occasions and was able to get parts sent to glasgow, montana so i could rebuilt my master cylinder, and find a welder in st. george, utah to weld my side stand back on the bike.

I bet losing a sidestand on a trip was not fun... All the extra weight making the center stand a "not so appealing" option.

Unfortunately, the center stand was not on the bike, but after over a month on the road, I was pretty resourceful and unabashed in using whatever was around to prop the bike up, i.e. buildings, posts, and a milk-crate-and-curb combo.

He everybody thanks for the help. All this was actually for my friends bike and we got everything sorted out. The people of Wyoming are awesome and thanks to everyone for the help.

Anyways I am currently in Albuquerque new Mexico and will be heading for new york tomorrow along the 40. If anyone wants to either suggest a route, ride for a bit or provide a yard to sleep in it would be much appreciated. Just give me a call and leave a message with a call back number as I have limited internet access. -Chris (480)694 2520
