I agree, tell us more about that seat cowl.  I don't see any reference to in any of your past posts.

Here's the knee dent thread:

Good job man looks like you worked hard at it just lose the dumb checkers and "Cafe 750"

To each his/her own..
Your dash indicator panel, though, is just begging for a face lift.  If it were me I'd either paint it black, or make a polished aluminum insert for it.

cheers

I'm still trying to figure out how to do that.. Any ideas??

who, what, when and where did the cowl come from,i like it

I got it and the tail light, unfortunately from carpy.  I had to bolt it directly to the frame, so getting the tank off you have to completely move the seat.. Minor inconvience I suppose. However, I have found an identical seat from another website for just $10 more, that incorporates the hinges and locking mechanism..

Thank you guys a lot.. It has been a long time coming, and I think it will always be a work in progress :D

Goregeous, man.  What a transformation.

The seat, cowl, and tail-light all look great.  Hell, the whole thing looks great.

And keep the checkers - I dig the two-tone look they give.
One day, I will put up a signature.

Keep the checkers. The bike is sweet. Is that the stock chain guard?

Not to hi-jack this thread....but...if any of you are interested.  I have the EXACT same seat BRAND NEW for sale.  I bought it for a cb400 thinking it would fit, and it's just not right.

If anyone is interested make me a reasonable offer.

I love the paint job. Did you do it yourself or did you farm it out?

I believe it is actually off of a Harley Davidson.. Not sure though..

They are not actually emco pods. Although, I forget where I got them from; Fleebay somewheres.. But I have never really heard anything good from that company so I've steered clear from them.

Me and my father & law came up with that. With a lot of measuring, we came up with the dimensions of the vinyl graphics, of which his sister has her own company that produced those..

We used nitro-cellulose paint, kind used with old hot rods, it came out great and it makes it look like it's 30 layers deep.

My father & law builds his own guitars, banjos, madelions, etc. so he has his own paint booth, that came in real handy. Needless to say, I didn't have to pay for the paint job or graphics. ;D

I did this whole bike for about $1500 including the $450 price tag on her. Not bad. Still have a few more items I'd like to get though. Including yamiya 4-1 exhaust.
