Brew at the Zoo
« on: August 02, 2008, 02:24:30 PM »
our local zoo http://www.riverbanks.org/ , does an event every year called brew at the zoo. there are over 200 beers to sample, all sorts of good food, including a german buffet. this will be my first time going, been looking forward to this all year. great local band called elliot and the untouchables are playing too. as a zoo member i get the designated drinker ticket (with 4oz sample cup) for $25 and my wife gets the desginated driver ticket (with unlimited soft drinks) for $15

That sounds like a good deal.  As hot as it is today I could put the hurt on beer.  My wife is always the designated driver also.  God I love my wife.  Where does all the beer come from?

well that was the biggest waste of 25 dollars i've seen since i was a cocaine user. waiting 30 minutes in 95 degree heat (at 9:15 it's still 92) for a lukewarm, 4oz glass of beer. people smoking like chimneys even though theres NO smoking at all at the zoo. Ladies, can you possibly tell my why so many women wear SO much  damn perfume and colognes that thats all i could smell, or taste? we ended up leaving i was so sick from the fumes.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

the wife and i go weekly to the zoo, especially now with 5 new lion cubs to go look at. the doc tells me it'll be good for me to get out to talk when i can do it.
