I am selling a 1975 cb550K. It has 17,700 miles. I purchased the bike last fall. I don't know much about its history. The guy I bought it from was not the original owner. It is completely original, minus the original toolkit and factory manual. It has 4 into 4 original pipes. I just rebuild the carbs 2 weeks ago. The tank has two dings and faded paint. I believe it was dropped on the right side once, as the tach is dinged and the green tach face vibrates when riding. I repaired the side panels, which were cracked. I sprayed them black temporarily. The bike is mechanically sound. It gets up to 80 MPH in about 4 seconds with me on it. I weigh 130lbs. All chrome is in excellent shape, with very minor surface rust in some corners. But the surface rust comes off with chrome polish. It could use a valve adjustment as there are some new ticking sounds, common on these bikes. It does leak oil at the shifter. The new seal will arrive early next week. It has a new rear tire with about 300 miles on it.
I appreciate your input.
