since losing my tortie berlios back in march i have been really missing having a female cat in the house, my girls (berlios and Ilse the calico that i lost last year) always kept the 5 boys in line and didnt let em get away with anything lol. well i finally convinced (wore down) my wife to let me adopt another cat. i found callie the tortie at a local no-kill shelter. she had been there for more than 2 years and the folks at wescott acres http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/SC227.html told me that torties are overlooked by most folks adopting kitties, partly becauswe alot of folks think theyre not very attractive and lots of others because torties get kind of nasty sometimes, i for one think theyre beautiful kitties and i love the "tortietude' " as cat people call it. this is a pic if callie with her new brother bucky-katt

This is gizmo, she is a real princess and will have a tantrum if she doesnt get what she wants lol
