This sounds like I am feeling sorry for myself, sorry about that. I think having the rainiest July since 1922 along w mostly overcast days is getting me down. Could someone please call God and inform Him I need some sunny days to get back on track?

I think you'll find he yields to Gaia in those matters.  Have a chicken you can sacrifice? :-)

There are summers when riding seems more of a bother than its worth.  On these old bikes, with old electrics prone to moisture intrustion, it's even worse.  I've hung it up on rainy days since my early 30's when I rode a CB550K home in a torrential downpour and first had to deal with shorting plug wires, then with a front brake that did'nt work - at first.  I didn't get home directly - spent a few hours in a park pavilion waiting for the rain to pass.

Well, it was sunny between the clouds this morning...so rode to work for a change. Maybe just what I needed. Managed to ride in between the showers shomehow.

I'm better now. Thanks.

I feel I must apologize for my last post. Really not like me at all.
peace,
michel

Three things you lean when you get older:

1. Never pass up a bathroom.
2. Never waste a hard on.
3. Never trust a fart.
