Clymer or Haynes??

Clymer or Haynes??  Or both?  Are official Honda service manuals available?

Both since you will find a little different info in each. Look in the FAQ section for manuals.

get the Honda manual, cross-reference it with Clymers and Haynes and if they all disagree, ask Hondaman ;)

Haynes is best described as crap. Poor photo's, whole articles missing etc. Luckily I also have a honda w/shop manual I bought on evil-bay as back up. If all else fails  I have..............this forum! Better than any manual.

Is this considered the "better" OEM manual?  I have the Clymer right now & it assumes a lot of knowledge I don't have.  Just wondering if this is worth the price, or available cheaper somewhere.

That is the owner's manual that came with the bike. They are a good little manual to have which will show basic maintenance. Go here for manual downloads:

Find your bike and find your manual :)

Also, other people may be able to find a manual for you if it isn't there.

The Honda Service Manual for your bike is the way to go for the most part. Also, searching here on the forum and asking questions will go much further than the manual. If you get stuck just ask.
