sold my 78 750ss yesterday
got a grand for her
anywhere else i could have got more but the economy here sucks
going to put that money into my 74 and get her running
figure a 836 kit and a mild cam should be fun

Tramp, just a thought, but could you not have got at least 1500 for it on here, & someone would have travelled to get it?

When I had to sell My 77' CB750K, i posted it at $1100, and never received a call. Except one guy who said the KBB was blah, blah, the age..blah blah.. Apparently he was unaware of that I to could read and KBB'd my bike and told him to read on and about the condition factors, then do a e-bay search of comparables. After we "discussed" this, he was much more agreeable to my pricing. He still didn't buy though.

Once it came down to the wire and I NEEDED the money (grumble >:(..family...grumble >:() I dropped the price to $880, and I had calls within minutes, and the first guy that showed bought it and drove it home :'(.
