Like Father, like son

Well, now that I have the RC172 replica done, I've started helping out my son (TedT) on his project. Started off as a Stock 1978 CB750. Here's where we've gotten so far:








We've always both been fond of the street tracker look. Yeah, so most common were the Yamaha XS650 conversions, but what the hey, nothing wrong with a 750/4 street-tracker, right??

A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

Dang pretty, that project of your sons would put a lot of modern superbikes to shame. ;D

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Thanks Dad, the bike's going to be a blast once she's "finished".  I have no idea what it weighs, we've taken a lot off of it so far.  My next thoughts are toward a second front brake and some race tech emulators, but then again it should probably run first. ;D
