40th Anniversary Rally Info. May 2009.

The Rally will be held at Gatton Showgrounds, Gatton Qld. 8th to 11Th May 2009. Live bands, camping, displays, gate prize is a Honda 750/4 Supersport. All included for $25 p.p. There is a parade from Plainlands to Gatton (20klm) on Saturday morning to try & get 2 world records. The most bikes & the most Honda 4's on a ride. (WE need over 5000 bikes on the day !!!) The primary charities for this event are Bravehearts & Youngcare.

I am assuming Qlnd is Queensland? If so I would loive to come but it is a bit out of reach for me

Should have my bike well on the road by then, now what excuse can i use to get up there?

Hi Guys, I'm sure you'll find an excuse to get up here, Troppo. We have had to move the start point from Plainlands to the Laidley Showgrounds (8k's down the road) as we could only fit about 2000 bikes in at the shopping centre. We have also been approached by the classic speedway mob, who have a few Honda 4 short circuit bikes to do a track demo on the weekend. We have got to see if logistically we can fit them in. I'll have the rally web site up in the next couple of weeks & will post a link up. Cheers, Paul.

So...
Has anyone got pics etc. of the 40th anniversary event?
Everyday life got in the way and i couldn't make it
CB750 K1 - undergoing restoration (on hold)
CB750 K2 - Wanted - More time to work on her
CB1300S - the most awesome bike i've owned yet
