Paint looks good, is she happy?

Since the rearsets are so nice, maybe you could get a set and take measurements so guys could fab a set??

That picture of Rossi all the way over is killer!

Just wondering if those pipe's arent runing a little close to the oil filter? it just looks like they would heat up the filter housing and i thought the idea here was to cool the oil? Maybe it's just the angel of the picture.
Looking good!

well, been away on the bike for a few days and found out some interesting things.
it doesn't like to sit at 6500 rpm, seem to be losing a cylinder on and off, doesn't happen at any other time so might have to explore my carb mods a bit more.
might change the front sprocket up one tooth to lower the cruising revs a tad, it can easily haul a taller gear.
found out it I have the mysterious hot start issue, off to read Kit's thread.

I had the charging problem/hot start issue you speak of mate, turned out to be a bad rotor after much testing and comparing notes with Kit.
I think in the end it was her problem too but she replaced everything so a bit hard to tell, I borrowed a rotor off my bro-inlaw who just happened to be rebuilding a 650pz and it worked like a charm. :)
Wrecker charged me $50 for an unknown one but it worked and no problems since.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

yes, I saw that Kit changed a lot at once.I'm trying to get my head around what's happening before I launch into it (I must be getting old)
runs fine, stop when bike hot, winds slowly over and wont fire. push starts great, starts fine on the elecy after about 10 minutes. I have trouble with it being charging related but haven't done any testing yet, sorry TT. this only happened twice on the weekend but twice is enough.
push starting in front of a whole group of harley boys, the shame of it.

Yeah and I bought the last 2 CB650 clutch cables in the world of DS this week. ;D
I've never been nailed for GST? How would they know!
I didn't see a tacho cable on their site, I'm thinking of changing my speedo and tacho as they both bounce around like giegercounters! :D

I'm running a 15/39 setup at the mo and find it a bit buzzy so have ordered a 16, will give you a comparison when the bits get here. takes longer to get from Auckland to CHCH than from England to Auckland.

went to go for a ride yesterday, started bike up then turned it off while I got my gear together then she wouldn't turn over. battery on charger over night and still wouldn't turn over today. tried a push start and couldn't turn over. took plugs out and find the motor is locked up  :(

took the tappet covers off hoping to find a missing adjuster, no such luck. took the rockers off and my cam chain is looser than a loose thing. so I have jumped a tooth or two. looks like the adjuster has decided to part company but will have to wait a day or two to explore deeper.

Damn mate, that's deep deep stuff! :(
Best guess is your camchain adjuster let go allowing the chain to leap a few teeth. ???
If you have to get a new cam chain adjuster, I'd be very interested to know where and how much as I'm up for that myself on the 650 this winter.
