rebuild petcock?
« on: August 05, 2008, 06:17:43 PM »
I have an 81 cb650c, is there any info on how to rebuild the petcock? I have purchased many o rings, but none seem to fit right. Also is there a diagram anywhere that shows how im suppose to put it back together?
Mine has an o ring and a metal circular ring inside the nut. Thanks

As they are riveted they were not intended to be rebuilt but with the right piecesparts could be.

sounds like you will need a new one.    I almost sold my spare tanks last year.  A 80 and a 81 and glad I didnt.
